The Ergendo Trade and Industry PLC (Ergendo) has been established in 2003. The objective of its establishment is to produce shoe/slippers and shoe soles. The shoe soles are both for its own consumption and to be supplied to other local shoe manufacturers.
Ergendo is a Company that continuously strives to posses the latest technology in the area of its activity. The Company’s capacity is dynamically growing in all aspects, and now it is mainly engaged in manufacturing EVA Slippers, which is the first of its kind in Ethiopia.
For its EVA Slippers production, it imported modern machineries from Italy and Taiwan. Without any exaggeration, theses machines are the state-of-the-art. The fact that these machines are imported tax-free as per the countries policy of encouraging investment, has a positive contribution to the affordability of its produce. The researches the Company conducted are confirming that its EVA slippers are stylish, comfortable and durable.
Ergendo is also proud of its modern management system, which is a pillar to its persistent growth. The Company gives the highest attention to the quality of its output and it uses raw materials imported from Italy and Taiwan. In the course of fulfilling its business objective, the Company also created job opportunities to significant number of employees.
